Terms of sale and use
These terms apply when you buy a Cardzee card and when you use the Cardzee service. By setting up a card you agree to them. You must be 18 or over.
Who we are
Cardzee is a trading name of Whinco Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16534674), registered office 41 Truro Close, Hull, HU7 4XQ, United Kingdom. Email cardzeesupport@gmail.com or WhatsApp 07546 287704.
What you get
- A plain NFC card that works as soon as you set it up. When someone taps it on their phone, it opens your contact card, your WhatsApp, or a link you choose.
- An online dashboard where you can change where taps go, switch the card off and on, and see tap statistics.
- For founding-batch cards: one printed card with your name, title and logo, made from the design you give us in the dashboard. We aim to deliver it within 14 days of receiving a complete design.
Price and payment
Founding batch: £30 per card, or £25 per card when you buy five or more at once. You pay in full when you buy, in person or online. There is no subscription. We may add optional paid features later; your card keeps working without them.
Founding batch pre-orders
- What you're buying: a printed plastic (PVC) Cardzee card, bank-card size, made to the design you create on our website, with an NFC chip set up for you.
- Payment: you pay in full when you order, through our payment provider Stripe. We never see your card details.
- When it arrives: we'll post your printed card within 6 weeks of the founding batch closing. By ordering you agree to this delivery period. If we can't meet it, you can cancel for a full refund.
- Free forever: cards bought in the founding batch never need a subscription. Everything your card does when you buy it stays free for as long as Cardzee runs, even if we add paid plans for later customers.
- Closing date: the founding batch closes at 23:59 on 31 January 2027.
- If the founding batch doesn't reach its goal of 60 cards by the closing date, we'll refund every pre-order in full within 14 days.
- Cancelling: you can cancel for a full refund any time before we start printing your card (and in any case within 14 days of ordering). Once printing starts, your card is made to your design, so it can't be cancelled unless it's faulty or not what you designed.
- We print the design you give us, so check names and logos before you pay. If a logo won't print well, we'll contact you before printing.
Changing your mind
Our promise: if you change your mind, return the plain card to us unused (not set up) within 14 days of getting it and we'll refund you in full. This applies whatever you paid and however you bought it.
Your legal right to cancel: if you're buying as an individual (not for a business) and pay more than £42 to us in person away from our usual business premises, for example at an event, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the cards, without giving a reason. We'll give you a cancellation form when you buy. To cancel, tell us clearly by email or WhatsApp, or use the form, and return the cards. We'll refund you within 14 days of getting them back, using the same payment method. Purchases of £42 or less, and purchases made for a business, don't carry this legal right, but our promise above still applies.
Printed cards are personalised, so they can't be cancelled or returned once printing has started, unless they're faulty or not what you designed.
Faults
If your card or printed card is faulty or doesn't match what was agreed, tell us and we'll replace it or refund you. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.
Keeping the service running
Your card depends on our service being online. We'll keep it running for as long as Cardzee trades. If we ever have to close, we'll give card owners at least 60 days' notice by email, so you have time to save your details and tell people where to find you instead.
Your responsibilities
- Only put details on your card that you have the right to share. Nothing unlawful, misleading or offensive. We can pause a card that breaks this, and we'll tell you why.
- Keep your login details safe and your email address up to date.
- If you lose your card, switch it off on the Cards page and message us.
Printed card
We print what you give us in your design, so check the spelling before you order. We'll contact you if your logo won't print well. You can change your design until we start making the card.
Liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses (such as lost profit or opportunities), for phones that don't support NFC, or for what happens on other services, such as WhatsApp or a website, after a tap. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy notice.
Complaints and law
If something's not right, message us first and we'll try to sort it quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
